Founder & Owner
Michelle Brooks Webb
For 35 years, Michelle Brooks Webb has turned a small one-room dance studio in Rural Hall into the thriving Dance Perfections Arts Company (DPAC) it is today—building not simply a successful studio, but a legacy rooted in artistry, excellence, family, and a genuine love for her dancers.
Michelle’s own journey in the performing arts began long before DPAC. She studied ballet at the North Carolina School of the Arts and has trained with renowned teachers and choreographers throughout North Carolina, New York, and beyond in all genres of dance. Her performance career includes appearances in numerous musical productions, including A Chorus Line, George M! and Show Boat. She has also enjoyed a successful career in print, modeling, and pageantry, earning numerous pageant titles and becoming Fourth Runner-Up in the Mrs. North Carolina Pageant. Her experience and expertise have also led her to serve as a judge for numerous prestigious pageant and dance competitions, where she has been recognized for her knowledge, experience, and discerning eye for talent, artistry, and presentation.
A true artist at heart, Michelle’s talents extend beyond dance. She studied fashion design, graduating at the top of her class, with numerous original designs selected for showcases and modeled in presentations. Today, she continues to express her creativity through one of her favorite passions—designing costumes and creating unique looks that bring choreography and performances to life.
Michelle has taken the knowledge, discipline, creativity, and performance experience gained throughout her career and woven it into the technical training and artistic vision behind DPAC. Under her direction, her dancers and teams have earned numerous state and national titles, choreography awards, and prestigious honors.
Her greatest accomplishment, however, may be the legacy her dancers have created beyond the studio. Many of Michelle’s students have gone on to become professional dancers, teachers, choreographers, and studio owners. Her dancers have also performed on collegiate dance teams, NFL teams, and NBA teams, carrying the foundation and passion they developed at DPAC into the next chapter of their careers.
That legacy continues through her daughter, Jessica Brooke Losselyong, who has earned numerous pageant titles throughout North Carolina as well as multiple national pageant titles. Jessica is now an important part of the DPAC staff and has created TUTU TOTS, a beloved program designed for young dancers from walkers through age four, introducing them to the joy of movement and dance from the very beginning.
Away from the studio, Michelle treasures time with her husband, Randy, her greatest supporter throughout her journey, and her family. They have been an integral part of the story behind the dream and the legacy she continues to build.
Yet, for Michelle, the greatest measure of success has never been a trophy.
Her greatest goal is to create a place where every dancer feels seen, encouraged, supported, and loved—a place where young artists can discover their confidence, find their voice, and believe in themselves.
After 35 years, Michelle’s dream continues to grow. Her legacy lives not only in the studio she built, but in every dancer she has inspired, every career she has helped launch, and every life she has touched.
