Always a Step AboveExceptional dance training in a warm, family-centered environment

Stokes County's longest-standing, family-owned dance studio for over 35 years!

About Dance Perfections Arts Company

Since 1991, families have trusted us to provide exceptional dance education in an environment filled with positivity, encouragement, and genuine care.

We believe proper training should begin with a child’s very first class—but we also believe excellent instruction should never come at the expense of joy, confidence, or belonging. Our highly qualified teachers take the time to know their dancers, offer meaningful corrections, and support each student’s individual growth.

Some dancers come to us for a fun and enriching weekly activity. Others are ready to pursue more advanced training. Both are important here. Every dancer deserves to feel loved, supported, challenged, and encouraged to become the very best they can be—in the studio and beyond.

At Dance Perfections, we do more than teach steps. We build strong foundations, confident dancers, and relationships that often become lifelong family.

What we stand for

Our approach to teaching

Proper foundations

Technique begins in a dancer's very first class, taught in a way that is age-appropriate and encouraging.

Individual growth

We teach dancers as individuals, offering thoughtful corrections and encouragement without favoritism.

Belonging

Dancers of all levels and goals belong here—and are treated that way every week.

Long-term confidence

The habits dancers build in our studio—focus, discipline, resilience—follow them well beyond the stage.

Conveniently located in King, Dance Perfections welcomes dancers from Pilot Mountain, Rural Hall, Walnut Cove, Mount Airy, Pinnacle, Winston-Salem, and surrounding North Carolina communities.

Let's find the right class for your dancer

Tell us a little about your child and we'll recommend the class that fits their age, experience, and goals. No experience needed to get started.
