At DPAC, we believe success begins with exceptional training. Auditions
DPAC Intensive Workshop & Team Auditions ✨
Auditions are held the first week of August every summer to determine team placement for the upcoming season.
Dancers will experience four full days of intensive training, dancing, learning, and FUN, with guest judges and industry professionals brought in from across North Carolina.
Come prepared to dance, learn challenging combinations, work hard, and showcase your performance quality, dedication, and coachability.
Through years of passion, dedication, and hard work, DPAC has become one of the area’s most award-winning dance studios. Our Intensive Workshop is designed to challenge dancers, inspire growth, and help each dancer reach their fullest potential.

DPAC Competition Teams
Full Company
Ages 6–19Our Full Company consists of six levels, designed to challenge and develop dancers as they grow. Dancers receive focused training, performance opportunities, choreography, and the experience of being part of a dedicated competition team.
Pre-Company
Ages 5–9Our Pre-Company is the perfect introduction to competitive dance for dancers who want to experience what competition is all about but may not quite be ready for Full Company.
We offer two Pre-Company divisions:
🩷 Pee Wee Pre-Team
Ages 5–7
A fun, supportive introduction to team dance, competition, performance, and teamwork.
Mini Pre-Team
Ages 7–9
Designed for young dancers ready to take the next step, build confidence, strengthen their technique, and experience the excitement of competition.
Whether they are taking their first steps onto the competition stage or working toward the next level, there is a place for every dancer at DPAC.
